Before the “Death or Health 6” went on the market, the players who had the pre-emptive evaluation exposed the CPU optimization problem. Now this game has officially landed on the PC platform, and after installing the first day upgrade patch, the CPU optimization bug has been fixed. Foreign media DSOGaming also launched the performance analysis of the “Death or Health 6” PC version, let’s take a look
In this PC version of the performance analysis article, they used Intel i7 4930K (overclocked to 4.2Ghz), 2133Mhz 16GB DDR3 memory, AMD Radeon RX580 and RX Vega 64 graphics card, NVIDIA RTX 2080Ti and GTX980Ti graphics card, Windows 10 64-bit operating system, GeForce driver 419.17 and Radeon Software Adrenalin 2019 Edition 19.2.2 driver. NVIDIA has set this as a single GPU mode in the latest drivers, so the GTX690 behaves like a single GTX680
Team Ninja offers a very small amount of screen options for this game. PC players can only adjust the shadow resolution and the quality of the effect, that’s it. In addition, players can switch between borderless/windowed/full screen mode and can also enable/disable target details
Although this is a recommended CPU requirement, it does not require a high-end CPU. In order to observe the performance of this game in a variety of CPU environments, the evaluation simulates dual-core and quad-core CPUs respectively. The good news is that a stable 60fps experience can be obtained even in an analog dual-core CPU (no hyperthreading required)
“Death or Health 6” is also not high on the graphics card. At 1920*1080 resolution, almost all graphics cards in the test have a smooth gaming experience. The only one that can’t reach 60fps is the GTX690. Due to the lack of SLI configuration files, this graphics card is equivalent to GTX680, with a minimum game frame rate of 35fps and an average of 46fps
At 2560*1440 resolution, the other three graphics cards in the evaluation, AMD Radeon RX Vega 64, NVIDIA GTX980Ti and NVIDIA RTX2080Ti, can maintain a 60fps experience. However, at 4K resolution, only the NVIDIA RTX2080Ti guarantees a stable 60fps experience
In terms of picture quality, “Death or Health 6” does not give the player anything that has not been seen in this generation of 3D fighting games. In fact, at least from the point of view of the tester, the picture of “Tekken 7” is better than the picture of “New Life”. Although most of the characters have extremely high detail, the scene looks a bit unpretentious and can see many low-resolution materials. Lighting performance is not like a 2019 game. There are limited scene interactions in the game, but there is no display that is exaggerating enough
Although “Death or Health 6” runs smoothly on the PC, there are still some porting problems. For example, the game does not provide any key setting options, and only provides handle button prompts. Players who use the handle will obviously not encounter any problems, but some players prefer to use the keyboard to play the game
However, overall, “Death or Health 6” performance on the PC platform is still good. This configuration is not very high for PC configuration. Glorious Tekumo also fixes a bug in 100% CPU utilization. However, this game does not have a very good picture effect, and there are transplant problems that affect the keyboard streaming player experience, but if you use the handle to play the game, you will not encounter these problems
